Kerrang! Magazine Reimagine
Collection: Magazine with cover, TOC, letter to editor, two articles and two features
Kerrang! magazine has always been chaotic and in your face...as it should be as a leading rock music magazine in the UK. In high school I somehow begged my way into convincing my mother to get me a rather expensive subscription to this overseas magazine and still issue from 2007-2008.

I wanted to take a more minimalist and less chaotic take on the magazine which was a challenge since my aesthetic tends to also be chaotic. The goal was a cleaner look that still retained the alternative rock feel. I took inspiration from legendary publications like Rolling Stone and Billboard. I wanted to keep the text more rock and the content more simple.

The feature spreads were extremely fun to play around with different techniques and layouts. It was a challenge in balance and readability while still being fun.
